Synopsisあらすじ

On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon a boy who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. Commenting on Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting Kyon unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves literally dragged into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).

How to watch視聴順

Three entries, in the order they were shown. The famous complication is inside the first one rather than between them: the 2006 run aired its fourteen episodes in a deliberately scrambled order, and the 2009 re-run put all of them back in sequence while adding fourteen more. Either way through the 2006 episodes is defensible, and both are common.

  1. The Melancholy of Haruhi SuzumiyaTV
    涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱

The 2006 run scrambled its episode order on purpose — the disc numbering is the chronological one, and watching it as broadcast is the joke working as intended.

  2. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009)TV
    涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱

The fourteen episodes added by the 2009 re-run, including the Endless Eight.

  3. The Disappearance of Haruhi SuzumiyaFilm
    涼宮ハルヒの消失

The film, and the reason people stay.

  4. The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chanTVOptional
    長門有希ちゃんの消失

A spin-off in a separate continuity where none of the supernatural happened.
